What is SparkPage?

SparkPage is a free, mission-driven platform that helps patients, parents, and caregivers create simple, shareable microsites to tell personal stories and explain rare or complex medical conditions.

Our goal is simple: reduce the emotional and cognitive burden of repeatedly explaining a diagnosis while creating durable awareness artifacts that can be shared via link or QR code.

Our Mission

When a family receives a rare or complex diagnosis, they often find themselves explaining the same story over and over—to educators, medical providers, extended family, friends, and community members. Each retelling can be emotionally draining and time-consuming.

SparkPage exists to change that. We believe families should be able to:

  • Share their story once and let it speak for them
  • Create awareness in a clear, human way
  • Maintain control over their narrative and privacy
  • Access tools without financial barriers or hidden costs

Our Values

Free for Families, Always

SparkPage is completely free. There are no hidden fees, no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and no plans to charge families in the future. We believe that sharing your story shouldn't come with a price tag.

Privacy First

We don't sell data. We don't run ads. We don't track users. We don't monetize your experience. Your story belongs to you, and we're here to help you share it on your terms.

Simple by Design

Creating a microsite should take minutes, not hours. We've intentionally kept the platform simple and focused, so you can spend your time telling your story, not wrestling with complex tools.

Stories Belong to Families

You own your content. You control who sees it. You decide when to publish, edit, or delete. We're just the platform—your story is yours.

How It Works

1. Create Your Microsite

Sign up for a free account and create your microsite in under 10 minutes. Add your story, photos, and helpful links. No technical skills required.

2. Get Your Link

Your microsite gets a clean, memorable URL: sparkpage.org/example-site. You can also generate a QR code for easy in-person sharing.

3. Share Your Story

Share your link or QR code with educators, medical providers, family members, or anyone who needs to understand your condition. Your microsite is mobile-friendly and optimized for real-world sharing.

4. Edit Anytime

Update your content whenever you need to. Changes go live within seconds, so your microsite always reflects your current story.

  • Provide tools for content moderation and removal
  • Respond promptly to privacy and safety concerns
  • Maintain clear policies about prohibited content

Frequently Asked Questions

Is SparkPage really free?
